The Account Executives will be responsible for helping to create and sell branded, high-impact marketing assets across our owned & operated properties, including, though not limited to, the Bud Billiken® Parade and Bronzeville Life™. Account Executives are directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our corporate sponsor database.

The Office Manager organizes and coordinates administration duties, HR tasks, payroll, and other office procedures. The Office Manager’s role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, efficiency, communication and safety.

The Sponsor Managers will be responsible for helping to oversee the daily, routine tasks involved with addressing the client's needs and concerns while managing marketing deliverables across our owned & operated properties, including, though not limited, to the Bud Billiken® Parade and Bronzeville Life™.

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the success of Chicago Defender Charities events by coordinating the technical, personnel and financial aspects while supporting and coordinating with various staff members including the Director of Programing and the Director of Sales.

The Program Manager plans and supervises all aspects of ChiDC’s annual programs, from inception to execution, ensuring that project objectives are carried out within the approved timeline. The Program Manager is in charge of all standard and specialized initiatives within organizational operations and acts as the communication liaison, leader, strategic planner, and overseer for ChiDC annual programs.

The Bud Billiken® Internship program is a work experience rooted in community and learning. Each intern will be placed on a team and with an experienced leader in a role that is in line with Intern career goals, education and previous work experiences.
